A snake on a plane actually grounded a flight to Dubaiby Mike Denison
The Bizarre#IsIt2006Again

Remember the movie "Snakes on a Plane"? That was almost 11 years ago.

But on Sunday, an actual snake grounded an Emirates flight to Dubai, the BBC reports. It's not clear what kind of snake it was or if it was venomous.

The plane was searched and the snake was found before takeoff.  No one was bitten or otherwise hurt by the snake.

In November, a snake fell from the overhead compartments of an Aeromexico plane.

And in Japan, a python found its way onto a Japanese bullet train.

Unfortunately, Samuel L. Jackson was nowhere to be found.
