WATCH | A business-as-usual Tennis Channel segment at the Volvo Car Open in Charleston, South Carolina, was interrupted by the juggling skills of doubles champ Bethanie Mattek-Sands. (Full disclosure: Tennis Channel is owned by Circa's parent company, Sinclair Broadcast Group.)
The world's No. 1 women's doubles player put on a show behind Tennis Channel host Steve Weissman, analyst Tracy Austin and active pro Sloane Stephens, the last of whom has been appearing on the network while rehabbing from injury.
'Just comin' on through'
Weissman had started to discuss the Women's Tennis Association rankings with Austin and Stephens when Mattek-Sands popped up behind them to juggle three tennis balls like it was no big deal.
"We have the No. 1 doubles player in the world just casually juggling behind us, by the way," Weissman remarked with a laugh. "Just comin' on through."
The Volvo Car Open's Twitter account appeared to appreciate Mattek-Sands' juggle-bombing.
