WATCH | Capcom's superstar mascot has found its way to handheld devices, in the form of a mobile re-release of the first six titles of the popular side-scroller action game.
The release was announced earlier in December.
"Mega Man" hit the gaming world on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987. The re-releases mark the character's 30-years anniversary.
The 8-bit games are unchanged in terms of content and gameplay, and feature the same storylines seen in the original release.
There is a minor change in game pacing, to work better with mobile devices.
This follows suit with what Nintendo did last year -- weaving traditional console gaming into the mobile market.
"Mega Man Mobile" 1-6 are available for both iOS and Android devices, priced at $1.99 each.
