The White House just hosted its first ever gaming marathonby Marc Urbino

WATCH |  The presidential residence just finished streaming the "White House Competitive Gaming Event."

WATCH | The event was announced by basketball icon Shaquille O'neal, who has avidly supported competitive gaming and invested in the professional team, NRG eSports. 

Celebrity streamers, including , ImCoty and ThatChickParker, made appearances at the event to compete in a variety of games, such as Trials Fusion and Gang Beast

NRG eSports players faced off against each other in bracket competition.

Street Fighter V pros Darryl "Snake Eyez" Lewis and Justin Wong battled head-to-head.

The goal of this occasion was to promote the Affordable Care Actto younger generations.

Many of the gamers shared their experiences regarding healthcare, such as going through the medical process without being insured.

A walkthrough was even streamed as a means of simplifying the process for those who have yet to do so.
