WATCH | "Rick and Morty" is getting its own virtual reality game based on the show.
This is a collaboration project between Adult Swim Games and Owlchemy Labs, known for their award-winning title "Job Simulator."
The game allows you to play as a clone of one of the main characters, Morty.
In the game, you are given a series of outrageous tasks by Rick that you must complete. You are also able to completely explore and interact with multiple areas from the show, such as Rick's garage, Morty's house, or even alien planets. Portals are used to get to and from these locations.
Your hand movements are tracked via the use of two controllers, and distance is also monitored when you take steps. Due to this, you need a large space to be able to play the game. You must also have either an HTC Vive or an Oculus Rift, along with a computer that can handle VR gameplay.
"Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-Ality" will be available for purchase on the Steam store on April 20th.
