Anti-Trump protesters are planning a permanent DC 'movement house' for activistsby Mike Denison

A group of millennial Bernie Sanders supporters are planning to open a permanent location in Washington, D.C., to protest President-elect Donald Trump's presidency.

The house, set to open by Trump's inauguration in January 20, has been named "District 13," a reference to "The Hunger Games," The Guardian reports

The plan comes from Millennials for Revolution, which spun out of the pro-Sanders group Millennials for Bernie.

"His presidency is not normal at all. It's our duty to make sure he doesn't succeed."

Moumita Ahmed, Millennials for Revolution

The plan is inspired by "movement houses" of the civil rights era, which were safe havens for protesters planning marches.

District 13 has drawn donations from African-American groups as well as climate change and minimum wage activists.
