WATCH | Circa Renaissance is a weekly series co-produced by Armstrong Williams Productions that takes a look at established mentors with advice for a younger generation. This week's mentor is Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens.


Greitens, a former Navy SEAL, is the 56th Governor of Missouri.  A former Democrat, he ran as a Republican and beat state Attorney General Chris Koster in the election on Nov. 8. Greitens took office on Jan. 9. 

He has been married to Sheena Elise Chestnut since August 2011 and they have two sons. During his time in the armed services he received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Navy Commendation Medal.
