WATCH | If you're a fan of bloody marys and pizza, you may want to visit Wicked Pie Pizza in Puyallup, Washington. The family-owned restaurant creates a tasty bloody mary with a pizza twist called the "wicked mary."
This family is no stranger to making the perfect pie. Mary Anderson and her husband Randy have been in the pizza business for 22 years, and they have a passion for whipping up fresh pizzas from their wood-fire pizza oven. Wicked Pie Pizza has been open for only about a month, but it has created quite a buzz in the Puyallup area and beyond.
The wicked mary started as a joke. "We thought we should have a drink and appetizer all in one, so we tried that and it just took off," Mary said.
Mary is a bloody mary fan herself and said the wicked mary is her favorite of all of Wicked Pie Pizza's craft cocktails. "We always try to stay current -- we have a rotating cocktail and pizza menu," she said.
"The wicked mary has a real wow factor because we do put a slice of pepperoni pizza right in the bloody mary."

It took about a year for Wicked Pie Pizza to open. Mary said she and her husband built the business from the ground up, and it has been amazing to see all the positive responses Wicked Pie Pizza has received since opening over President's Day weekend.
The bustling restaurant is an "adults only" pizzeria with an assortment of delectable craft cocktails labeled appropriately as "wicked elixirs" on their menu.
