Adidas revealed a first look at its 3D-printed shoes coming this fall for mass productionby Circa News

Adidas unveiled their latest 3D-printed shoe Friday night, the Futurecraft 4D.

The shoe is the latest version of their last 3D-printed runners.

The shoe company plans on selling 5,000 pairs this upcoming fall, which will scale up to more than 100,000 pairs by the end of 2018.

Here's a sample of what the 3D-printed part of Adidas new shoes.

Adidas tweeted this preview of its new3D-printed shoe last night.

The midsole is printed and attached attached to the top of the shoe, which is made from fabric using traditional manufacturing methods.

Adidas anticipates customers will one day be able to have their own 3D-printed shoe, with customizable midsoles that fit a person's individual needs.
