Hasbro, the makers of the classic board game/anger management exercise Monopoly, launched an online poll last month to let fans decide which tokens would make the cut for the next edition of the game.

The results are in, and the thimble token, a staple of the game since its creation in 1935, is out.

And this, somewhat surprisingly, has upset a lot of passionate Monopoly fans.

"We were a little bit surprised that the thimble got among the lowest votes because it's been in the game for so long."
