Chelsea Manning unveiled her new look one day after being released from prisonby Circa News

One day after her release from prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Pvt. Chelsea Manning released an image of her new look.

"Okay, so here I am everyone!!" Manning said in an Instagram post.

Manning gained notoriety after she released a trove of secret military and State Department documents to WikiLeaks that, among things, revealed prisoner abuse at Guantanamo Bay and shed light on a helicopter incident in Baghdad that led to the death of a photographer and driver working for the Reuters news agency.

Former President Obama commutated Manning's sentence of 35 years. After her release on Wednesday, Manning served seven.

During those seven years, Manning routinely spoke out against her prison conditions, claiming she was subjected to forced haircuts -- despite taking on her renewed identity as a woman-- and periods of solitary confinement.

"Freedom used to be something that I dreamed of but never allowed myself to fully imagine," Manning said one week before her release.

And, by the looks of it, Manning toasted to her newfound freedom, just like she said she would.
