This Bronx mosque doubles as a synagogue for an elderly congregationby Freethink

WATCH |Circa is proud to present a Freethink original series called Crossing the Divide. The first episode, "The Bronx Mosque," will introduce you to Sheikh Moussa Drammeh and his Masjid Al-Iman mosque.

When Moussa found out that there were elderly Jews forced to abandon their synagogue, he opened his mosque to them to allow them a place to worship.

Through a mutual friend, Moussa found out that Leon Bleckman -- the treasurer of his synagogue's congregation -- was in need of a place to gather and pray, and on Friday nights you can see the two religions praying side by side under the same roof.
