WATCH | This crazy weather left this house frozen. What will the big snow storm bring?
As much of the Northeast prepares for a major winter storm, parts of upstate New York are already dealing with extreme weather.
In fact, a beach home in Webster, New York, which is located along the shoreline of Lake Ontario, has been turned into an "ice house."
Photographer John Kucko captured images of the home, which looks like a scene out of "Frozen."
Kucko told CBS News he frequently visits the remote area where the home is located year-round. But this time, he was shocked to see the home covered in icicles.
The home he photographed faces the lake and doesn't have a retaining wall so the freezing temperatures, along with the water and wind coated the house in ice.
"Some parts look apocalyptic up there," Kucko wrote on his Facebook page. "The violent wind we've had the last five days has taken a toll."
CBS reports that the area has seen wind gusts of up to 81 mph over the past five days.
The National Weather Service issued a blizzard watch for New York City and parts of upstate New York for Monday night into Tuesday. It warned that the New York metro area could be covered with an estimated 12 to 18 inches of snow.
