White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said that President Trump would not apologize to former President Obama for claiming that he wiretapped Trump Tower.
This came hours after FBI Director James Comey and NSA Director Admiral Michael Rogers said there wasno evidence to support Trump's claim that he had been wiretapped.
Spicer attempted to deflect to alleged ties between Hillary Clinton and Russia, telling the press it should be asking more questions about those ties.
However, Spicer insisted Trump trusted Comey.
Spicer also said Paul Manafort played a "very limited role" in the Trump campaign.
Manafort once supported a pro-Russian party in Ukraine and resigned as Trump's campaign manager in August.
Spicer's description of his role as "limited" angered some observers.
