WATCH | After a historical Jewish cemetery was desecrated by unknown vandalizers in a St. Louis, Missouri suburb, a pair of Muslim activists launched a campaign requesting $20,000 to repair the damage. What they saw from donations, far exceeded their expectations.

Linda Sarsour of MPower Change and Tarek El-Messidi of CelebrateMercy were concerned with the growing wave of anti-semitism nationwide.

As Muslim Americans, they decided to show solidarity with their friends in the Jewish community and launched a campaign on LaunchGood. Originally asking for $20,000, they reached that number in a mere 3 hours. In 24 hours, they've received an excess of $80,000.

Last year Linda Sarsour helped raise $100,000 for Black churches that were burned down.
